SM ACTION RACING TEAM lines up in force for the second round of the MXGP World Championship, the first in Europe after Argentina

In addition to Forato and Toendel, respectively in the MXGP and in the MX2 class, Lorenzo Ciabatti also lines up in the MX2 class, while Federico Tuani and Luca Ruffini also take part in the EMX250.

Toendel, still not in excellent condition, manages to get a good eleventh place in the qualifying race, while Ciabatti is back in the top twenty, in seventeenth position.

In the two races on Sunday Toendel struggles to express himself at his best and at the checkered flag we find him in thirteenth position. Ciabatti instead at his debut in the MX2 class gets a seventeenth place of the day.

Alberto Forato did not shine in the qualifying race on Saturday, struggling to find pace and feeling, and in any case conquered the thirteenth position which will allow him to line up in the same square the following day in the two races on Sunday.

Sunday, however, is a whole other story. In race one, after a start in the top 15, an amazing comeback begins which leads him first to pass the Gas Gas official Mattia Guadagnini, and after a while he also finds the overtaking on Romain Febvre, 2015 World Champion of the MXGP class. At the end of race one we find him in eighth position.

The start of race two however is not the best, and after another comeback from twentieth position Alberto is ninth at the checkered flag, a position which allows him to enter the top ten of the day, in ninth position: the best Italian driver in the GP of Sardegna.
