Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Blose Rides Consistent in Arlington for Ninth Overall

Oakland Highlights:

  • Chris Blose earned season-best qualifying of 8th
  • Blose finished eighth in all three triple crown main event races
  • Blose’s ninth overall put him back into the top-10 in points

ARLINGTON, Texas (February 26, 2023) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Chris Blose lined up for his first and only Triple Crown format of the season at AT&T Stadium, crossing the line eighth in all three main events to claim ninth overall for Round 3 of the Eastern Regional 250SX class. The solid finish brought Blose into the top 10 in the points standings with his second top 10 result in three races.

The day started with two important qualifying sessions to set the gate picks for the evening’s first main event. Blose was able to clock a season-best eighth to give him a good gate selection for the first main event. When the gate dropped, Blose settled into sixth, and with a few riders getting by around halfway, he moved back to eighth, where he stayed until the end.

The second main event saw less movement from the No. 57 as he came around the first lap in eighth, which he maintained through the 10 minutes plus one lap race. The night’s final race was the most challenging for Blose, who was 16th after the opening lap. Even after already completing two hard-fought races, Blose gave it everything he had to fight his way forward and eventually made it to eighth by the halfway point where he would finish. When all three race totals were added up, his three eighth-place finishes put him ninth overall on the night.

“The three main event format is challenging because starts are so important,” said Blose. “Thankfully, I was able to stay clear of any crashes and find a good position in the first two races. The track was really fast and made it hard to gain time once we got through the first few laps. I’ll take the ninth, but I’m really working toward a top-five.”
