DETROIT (February 15, 2025) – Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Levi Kitchen secured his first victory of the season at Round 6 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, showcasing a strong performance inside Ford Field. His teammate Seth Hammaker ended up in 17th place after a tough night, while Cameron McAdoo had his race cut short due to a crash in the whoops.

Following a ninth-place finish last weekend, Kitchen delivered an outstanding performance in Detroit, sweeping the day with first-place finishes across the board – qualifying, the heat race, and the main event. He set the tone early with a strong ride in qualifying, building momentum into a commanding victory in the heat race. In the main event, the No. 47 held second place for most of the race, but a staggered red flag restart provided an opportunity for Kitchen to take the lead. By executing strategic lines, Kitchen made an impressive pass for the lead, maintaining the top spot to the checkered flag, marking his first victory of the 250SX Eastern Regional series.

“Man, that was a crazy race,” said Kitchen. “The emotions were all over the place, especially with having to stop and restart. Max was riding really good at the start and pulled a pretty big gap on me. When the red flag came out, I knew it was time to reset and take advantage of the opportunity. I took a few deep breaths and treated it like a two-lap sprint and—I just sent it. I made a pretty aggressive pass, nailed that three out of the turn, and opened up a little gap.

This win means a lot, especially after having to bounce back from last weekend. Huge thanks to the fans, the entire Pro Circuit Kawasaki team, my trainers, my mechanics, and all my family back home. Let’s keep this momentum going!”

Seth Hammaker kicked off the day with a strong second-place finish in qualifying, carrying that momentum into the heat race, where he secured a third-place finish. In the main event, Hammaker encountered challenges, starting the race in eighth place and struggling to hold his position as the race progressed, ultimately finishing 17th.

“I felt great at the start of the day with a solid qualifying and heat race, and I was really looking forward to carrying that momentum into the main event,” said Hammaker. “Unfortunately, I started feeling pretty sick before the gate drop, and it definitely took a toll on me during the race. I did my best to push through, but it was a tough one. We’ll regroup this week, figure things out, and come back stronger for the next round.”

Cameron McAdoo began the day with a sixth-place finish in qualifying and a strong third-place finish in his heat race. Unfortunately, his night ended prematurely after a hard crash in the whoops during the main event, which prevented him from completing the race.

“Tough night for me here in Detroit. Unfortunately, I had a crash in the whoops with a couple of laps to go and banged up my face pretty good, ending up with a cut. Other than that, I think I’m okay. We’ll take the next couple of days to assess everything and make a plan moving forward. I really appreciate everyone’s support, and next time I come to Detroit, I’ll be looking for redemption.”

With Kitchen’s victory, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki carries solid momentum into the next round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The team will keep pushing forward as the Western Regional series heads to Arlington, Texas, next weekend.
